THE INSTITUTION:
I.1. Allocates adequate funds for the conduct of faculty and student.

I.3. Maintains a functional and long-range program of faculty/staff development to enhance research capability and competence.

I.4. Encourages the conduct of externally funded researches.

BEST PRACTICES

The research program is adequately funded by the government as seen in the National Expenditure Program of the Department of Budget and Management.
The Institute maintains a functional and long-range program of faculty/staff development to enhance research capability and competence by sending them to do PhD studies on full grants.
The Institute supports the research activities of the faculty and students through significant incentives like Research Dissemination Award (maximum of PhP 150,000) and adequately funding research activities.
