BEST PRACTICES
Most of the MBA faculty members are publishing in Scopus-indexed or Web of Science-indexed journals.
The Institute has two copyrighted journals that are dedicated for specific disciplines, of which the Mindanao Forum is more devoted to publishing the research outputs related to arts, social sciences, business, education and related fields. Meanwhile, the Asia-Pacific Journal of Science, Mathematics, and Engineering caters the research outputs in the field of natural science, mathematics and engineering. These two Institute journals are accredited and classified under category B by the Commission on Higher Education.
The Institute has adequate incentives for research outputs that are published in high-tiered journals (e.g. Scopus-indexed and the likes), amounting to a minimum of PhP 60,000.00 to at most PhP 75,000 per publication.
The Institute has adequate financial support for internally funded research outputs that are presented in quality conferences ranging from PhP35, 000 to maximum of PhP150,000 depending on the conference location.
The Institute has adequate financial support for patenting the research outputs of its faculty members, of which the amount varies depending on the stage of the patenting process.
