SYSTEM - INPUTS AND PROCESSES

BEST PRACTICE

The following are deemed best practices of the Bachelors of Science in Hospitality Management program (formerly BS Hotel and Restaurant Management) in Graduation Requirements:

  • A First Year Academic Orientation which is required to be attended by all first year students and their parents is held every first semester during the first year level. This ensures that the students and parents are in loop of the academic and graduation requirements of the program.

  • The implementation of the new curriculum requires an annual submission of an Adviser’s Report which details the average performance of the students of that year level. With this, proper monitoring of the students is assured and intervention is evidence-based.

  • The year level advisers of irregular students (shiftees, transferees, returnees) give PoS which is signed and acknowledged by the said students.
